Hadith on Gifts: The parable of the person who gives a gift and takes it back

Ibn Umar reported: The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “The example of one who gives a gift and then takes it back is that of a dog who eats his fill until he vomits and then returns to his vomit.”
[Sunan At-Tirmidhi, Book 29, Number 2131, Grade: Sahih]
