Abu Khizamah reported: His father asked, “O Messenger of Allah, the
incantations we use, the medicines which heal us, and our fortifications
against the enemy; do they repel anything from the providence of
Allah?” The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “They are part of the providence of Allah.”

اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ رُقًى نَسْتَرْقِيهَا وَدَوَاءً نَتَدَاوَى بِهِ
وَتُقَاةً نَتَّقِيهَا هَلْ تَرُدُّ مِنْ قَدَرِ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا قَالَ هِيَ مِنْ قَدَرِ اللَّهِ
