Hadith on Fasting: O Allah, I have fasted for Your sake and I have broken my fast with Your provision

Mu’adh ibn Zahra reported: It reached me that the Prophet, peace be upon him, would say upon breaking the fast, “O Allah, I have fasted for Your sake and upon Your provision I have broken my fast.”

عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ زُهْرَةَ أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا أَفْطَرَ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ صُمْتُ وَعَلَى رِزْقِكَ أَفْطَرْتُ
