Ibn Taymiyyah said, “Aborting a fetus is unlawful according to the consensus of the Muslims, as it is like the infant who is buried alive. Allah said: When the infant buried alive is questioned for what sin was she killed? (81:8) and Allah said: Do not kill your children for fear of poverty.” (17:31)
