Hadith on Praise: Glorify and exalt Allah and ask for His forgiveness ten times

Salma Umm Rafi’ reported: She said, “O Messenger of Allah, teach me some words but do not make it too much for me.” The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Say Allah is the greatest ten times. Allah the Exalted will say: This is for me. Say glory be to Allah ten times. Allah the Exalted will say: This is for me. Say: O Allah forgive me. Allah will say: I have done so. If you say it ten times, Allah will say each time: I have done so.”

عَنْ سَلْمَى أُمِّ بَنِي أَبِي رَافِعٍ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَخْبِرْنِي بِكَلِمَاتٍ وَلا تُكْثِرْ عَلَيَّ فَقَالَ قُولِي اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ عَشَرَ مِرَارٍ يَقُولُ اللَّهُ هَذَا لِي وَقُولِي سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَشْرَ مِرَارٍ يَقُولُ اللَّهُ هَذَا لِي وَقُولِي اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي يَقُولُ قَدْ فَعَلْتُ فَتَقُولِينَ عَشْرَ مِرَارٍ وَيَقُولُ قَدْ فَعَلْتُ

Hadith on Vows: The Prophet discouraged vows which are difficult and worship which is burdensome

Ibn Abbas reported: While the Prophet, peace be upon him, was giving a sermon, he saw a man standing and he asked about him. They said, “It is Abu Israel, who has vowed that he will stand and never sit down, he will never come into the shade nor will he speak to anyone, and he will be fasting.” The Prophet said, “Tell him to speak and let him come into the shade; make him sit down but let him complete his fast.”

عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ بَيْنَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ إِذَا هُوَ بِرَجُلٍ قَائِمٍ فَسَأَلَ عَنْهُ فَقَالُوا أَبُو إِسْرَائِيلَ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَقُومَ وَلَا يَقْعُدَ وَلَا يَسْتَظِلَّ وَلَا يَتَكَلَّمَ وَيَصُومَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُرْهُ فَلْيَتَكَلَّمْ وَلْيَسْتَظِلَّ وَلْيَقْعُدْ وَلْيُتِمَّ صَوْمَهُ

صحيح البخاري كتاب الْأَيْمَانِ وَالنُّذُورِ مر وهو يطوف بالكعبة بإنسان يقود إنسانا بخزامة في أنفه فقطعها النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بيده ثم أمره أن يقوده بيده

Hadith on Curses: Do not curse time because Allah is the Lord of Time

Abu Huraira reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, say, “Allah the Exalted said: The son of Adam curses time but I am time, for in my Hand are the night and day.”

قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ  سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَسُبُّ ابْنُ آدَمَ الدَّهْرَ وَأَنَا الدَّهْرُ بِيَدِيَ اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ
