Hadith on Reward: A double reward for People of the Book who embrace Islam, an honest servant, and a man who educates and marries his servant girl

Abu Burda reported from his father: The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, “Three persons will receive a double reward: a man from the People of the Book who believes in his prophet and believes in Muhammad; a servant owned by his master who fulfills the rights of Allah and his master; and a man who owns a servant girl and he mentors her, teaches her beautiful manners, and educates her in the best way, then he emancipates her and marries her. These will have a double reward.”

[Sahih Bukhari, Book 3, Number 97]

أَبُو بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَلَاثَةٌ لَهُمْ أَجْرَانِ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ آمَنَ بِنَبِيِّهِ وَآمَنَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالْعَبْدُ الْمَمْلُوكُ إِذَا أَدَّى حَقَّ اللَّهِ وَحَقَّ مَوَالِيهِ وَرَجُلٌ كَانَتْ عِنْدَهُ أَمَةٌ فَأَدَّبَهَا فَأَحْسَنَ تَأْدِيبَهَا وَعَلَّمَهَا فَأَحْسَنَ تَعْلِيمَهَا ثُمَّ أَعْتَقَهَا فَتَزَوَّجَهَا فَلَهُ أَجْرَانِ

Hadith on Jesus: The description of the return of Jesus Christ, his victory over the False Messiah, and that Muslims will pray for him at his funeral

Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace be upon him, said, “There is no Prophet between me and Jesus the son of Mary. Indeed, he will descend so if you see him then you will recognize him. He is a man of a moderately ruddy complexion. He will be wearing two faintly yellow garments. His hair will seem to have drops of water upon it, even though it will not be wet. He will fight people for the sake of Islam. He will break the cross, kill the swine, and abolish the tribute. In his time, Allah will bring to an end all other religions except for Islam, and He will defeat the False Messiah. Jesus will live for forty years and pass away; then the Muslims will pray over him (at his funeral).”

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ  أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَيْسَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُ نَبِيٌّ يَعْنِي عِيسَى وَإِنَّهُ نَازِلٌ فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهُ فَاعْرِفُوهُ رَجُلٌ مَرْبُوعٌ إِلَى الْحُمْرَةِ وَالْبَيَاضِ بَيْنَ مُمَصَّرَتَيْنِ كَأَنَّ رَأْسَهُ يَقْطُرُ وَإِنْ لَمْ يُصِبْهُ بَلَلٌ فَيُقَاتِلُ النَّاسَ عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ فَيَدُقُّ الصَّلِيبَ وَيَقْتُلُ الْخِنْزِيرَ وَيَضَعُ الْجِزْيَةَ وَيُهْلِكُ اللَّهُ فِي زَمَانِهِ الْمِلَلَ كُلَّهَا إِلَّا الْإِسْلَامَ وَيُهْلِكُ الْمَسِيحَ الدَّجَّالَ فَيَمْكُثُ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً ثُمَّ يُتَوَفَّى فَيُصَلِّي عَلَيْهِ الْمُسْلِمُونَ

Hadith on Jesus: Every person is touched by Satan upon birth, except Jesus and his blessed mother

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, “Satan touches every son of Adam on the day his mother gives birth to him, except for Mary and her son.”
