Hadith on Hajj: In the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent example

Ibn Abbas reported: He was circling the House with Mu’awiya and Mu’awiya would touch all of its corners. Ibn Abbas said, “Why did you touch these two corners? The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, did not touch these two.” Mu’awiya said, “Nothing from the House should be abandoned.” Ibn Abbas said, “Certainly you have in the Messenger of Allah an excellent example.” (33:21) Mu’awiya said, “You are right.”

Hadith Khutbah Al-Hājah: How the Prophet would begin his sermons, and the conversion of the people of Dimād to Islam

Ibn Abbas reported: Dimad came to Mecca and he belonged to the tribe of Azd Shanu’a, and he used to protect the person who was under the influence of charms. He heard the foolish people of Mecca say that Muhammad was under the spell. Upon this he said, “If I were to come across this man, Allah might cure him at my hand.” He met him and said, “Muhammad, I can protect someone who is under the influence of charms, and Allah cures one whom He so desires at my hand. Do you want this?” Upon this the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, “All praise is due to Allah, we praise Him, ask His help; and he whom Allah guides aright there is none to lead him astray, and he who is led astray there is none to guide him, and I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, He is One having no partner with Him, and that Muhammad is His Servant and Messenger. To proceed…” Now after this Dimad said: “Repeat these words of yours before me,” and the Messenger of Allah repeated these to him three times. And he said, “I have heard the words of soothsayers, magicians, and poets, but I have never heard such words as yours, and they reach the depth (of eloquence). Bring forth your hand so I can take an oath of loyalty to you and Islam.” So he took an oath of allegiance to him. The Messenger of Allah said, “And on behalf of your people.” He said, “On behalf of my people.” The Messenger of Allah sent an expedition that passed by his people. The leader of the expedition said to the army, “Did you find anything from these people?” One of them said, “I found a basin for water.” So the leader said, “Return it, for indeed these are the people of Dimad.”
