Hadith on Satan: All people have a devil who whispers evil in their hearts

Aisha reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, left my apartment during the night and I became jealous. Then the Prophet came and he saw I was upset. The Prophet said, “O Aisha, what is wrong? Do you feel jealous?” I said, “How can a woman not feel jealous with a husband like you?” The Prophet said, “Has your devil come to you?” I said, “O Messenger of Allah, is there a devil with me?” The Prophet said yes. I said, “Is he with all people?” The Prophet said yes. I said, “And with you, O Messenger of Allah?” The Prophet said, “Yes, but my Lord has helped me against him until he embraced Islam.”

Hadith on Fasting: All deeds are for the children of Adam except for fasting which is for Allah

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: Allah Almighty said, “All the deeds of the children of Adam are for them, except fasting which is for Me, and I will give the reward for it.” The Messenger of Allah said further, “Fasting is a shield. If one of you is fasting, he should avoid sexual relations with his wife and arguments. If somebody should fight or argue with him, he should say: I am fasting. By Him in Whose Hand is my soul, the unpleasant smell coming from the mouth of a fasting person is better in the sight of Allah than the smell of musk. There are two pleasures for the fasting person, one at the time of breaking his fast and the other when he meets his Lord; then he will be pleased because of his fasting.”
