Hadith on Ramadan: The Umrah pilgrimage during Ramadan is equivalent to Hajj

Ibn Abbas reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to an Ansari woman, “What prevented you from performing the Hajj pilgrimage with us?” She said, “We have a camel and the father of so-and-so and his son rode it and left only one camel for us to use for irrigation.” The Prophet said, “Perform the Umrah pilgrimage when Ramadan arrives, for Umrah during Ramadan is equal to the Hajj pilgrimage.”

عن ابن عباس رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِامْرَأَةٍ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ سَمَّاهَا ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ فَنَسِيتُ اسْمَهَا مَا مَنَعَكِ أَنْ تَحُجِّينَ مَعَنَا قَالَتْ كَانَ لَنَا نَاضِحٌ فَرَكِبَهُ أَبُو فُلَانٍ وَابْنُهُ لِزَوْجِهَا وَابْنِهَا وَتَرَكَ نَاضِحًا نَنْضَحُ عَلَيْهِ قَالَ فَإِذَا كَانَ رَمَضَانُ اعْتَمِرِي فِيهِ فَإِنَّ عُمْرَةً فِي رَمَضَانَ حَجَّةٌ

Hadith on Reward: Allah mutiplies great deeds up to seven hundred times as much

Abu Mas’ud reported: A man came with a bridled camel and he said, “This is for the cause of Allah.” The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “You will have for it seven hundred camels on the Day of Resurrection. Each of them will be bridled.”

Hadith on Faith: Yemen is a land of faith, tranquility is found in rearing sheep

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Faith is from Yemen; and unbelief is from the east; and tranquility is found among those who care for sheep; and pride and showing off is found among the rude owners of horses and camels.”

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْإِيمَانُ يَمَانٍ وَالْكُفْرُ قِبَلَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالسَّكِينَةُ فِي أَهْلِ الْغَنَمِ وَالْفَخْرُ وَالرِّيَاءُ فِي الْفَدَّادِينَ أَهْلِ الْخَيْلِ وَالْوَبَرِ

Hadith on Animals: Fear Allah regarding the rights of animals and be kind to them

Sahl ibn Al-Hanzala reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, passed by a camel whose back had fallen to its stomach. He said, “Fear Allah concerning your animals. Ride them while they are in good condition and eat them while they are in good condition.”

عَنْ سَهْلِ ابْنِ الْحَنْظَلِيَّةِ قَالَ مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِبَعِيرٍ قَدْ لَحِقَ ظَهْرُهُ بِبَطْنِهِ فَقَالَ اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ فِي هَذِهِ الْبَهَائِمِ الْمُعْجَمَةِ فَارْكَبُوهَا صَالِحَةً وَكُلُوهَا صَالِحَةً

سنن أبي داود كِتَاب الْجِهَادِ مر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ببعير قد لحق ظهره ببطنه فقال اتقوا الله في هذه البهائم المعجمة فاركبوها صالحة وكلوها صالحة
