Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, “Whoever eats lawful food, works according to the Sunnah, and the people are safe from his evil; then he will enter Paradise.” A man said, “O Messenger of Allah, indeed, today there are many people.” He said, “They will be from generations after me.”

عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ أَكَلَ طَيِّبًا وَعَمِلَ فِي سُنَّةٍ وَأَمِنَ النَّاسُ بَوَائِقَهُ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ هَذَا الْيَوْمَ فِي النَّاسِ لَكَثِيرٌ قَالَ وَسَيَكُونُ فِي قُرُونٍ بَعْدِي

Hadith on Girls: The religion of Abraham guided Zaid ibn Amr to protect the lives of young girls

Asma bint Abu Bakr reported: I saw Zaid ibn Amr ibn Nufail standing with his back against the Ka’bah and he was saying, “O people of Quraish, none of you are upon the religion of Abraham except me.” He would preserve the lives of young girls. If someone wanted to kill his daughter, he would say to him, “Do not kill her, for I will feed her on your behalf.” So he would take care of her and when she grew up, he would say to her father, “Now if you want her, I will give her to you; but if you wish, I will feed her on your behalf.”

عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَتْ رَأَيْتُ زَيْدَ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ نُفَيْلٍ قَائِمًا مُسْنِدًا ظَهْرَهُ إِلَى الْكَعْبَةِ يَقُولُ يَا مَعَاشِرَ قُرَيْشٍ وَاللَّهِ مَا مِنْكُمْ عَلَى دِينِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ غَيْرِي وَكَانَ يُحْيِي الْمَوْءُودَةَ يَقُولُ لِلرَّجُلِ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَقْتُلَ ابْنَتَهُ لَا تَقْتُلْهَا أَنَا أَكْفِيكَهَا مَئُونَتَهَا فَيَأْخُذُهَا فَإِذَا تَرَعْرَعَتْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهَا إِنْ شِئْتَ دَفَعْتُهَا إِلَيْكَ وَإِنْ شِئْتَ كَفَيْتُكَ مَئُونَتَهَا

Hadith on Forgiveness: The Prophet pardons the Jewish woman who poisoned him to death

Anas ibn Malik reported: A Jewish woman came to the Prophet, peace be upon him, with a poisoned sheep and he ate from it. She was brought to him and it was said, “Should we kill her?” He said, “No.” I continued to see the effects of the poison upon the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him.

عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ يَهُودِيَّةً أَتَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِشَاةٍ مَسْمُومَةٍ فَأَكَلَ مِنْهَا فَجِيءَ بِهَا فَقِيلَ أَلَا نَقْتُلُهَا قَالَ لَا فَمَا زِلْتُ أَعْرِفُهَا فِي لَهَوَاتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

Aisha reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, “Verily, the best food a man can eat is that which he has earned, and his child’s earnings are part of his earnings.”

Hadith on Islam: The best Muslims greet with peace those whom they know and do not know

Abdullah ibn Umar reported: A man asked the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, “Which Islam is best?” He said, “To feed the poor and to greet with peace those you know and those you do not know.”

Ammar ibn Yasir, may Allah be pleased with him, said, “Whoever has three qualities together will have gathered the faith: equity with yourself, offering peace to the world, and spending from small amounts.”

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو أَنَّ رَجُلاً سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَىُّ الإِسْلاَمِ خَيْرٌ قَالَ تُطْعِمُ الطَّعَامَ وَتَقْرَأُ السَّلاَمَ عَلَى مَنْ عَرَفْتَ وَمَنْ لَمْ تَعْرِفْ

وَقَالَ عَمَّارٌ ثَلَاثٌ مَنْ جَمَعَهُنَّ فَقَدْ جَمَعَ الْإِيمَانَ الْإِنْصَافُ مِنْ نَفْسِكَ وَبَذْلُ السَّلَامِ لِلْعَالَمِ وَالْإِنْفَاقُ مِنْ الْإِقْتَارِ

Hadith on Animals: Fear Allah regarding the rights of animals and be kind to them

Sahl ibn Al-Hanzala reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, passed by a camel whose back had fallen to its stomach. He said, “Fear Allah concerning your animals. Ride them while they are in good condition and eat them while they are in good condition.”

[Sunan Abu Dawud, Book of Jihad, Number 2548, Sahih]

عَنْ سَهْلِ ابْنِ الْحَنْظَلِيَّةِ قَالَ مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِبَعِيرٍ قَدْ لَحِقَ ظَهْرُهُ بِبَطْنِهِ فَقَالَ اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ فِي هَذِهِ الْبَهَائِمِ الْمُعْجَمَةِ فَارْكَبُوهَا صَالِحَةً وَكُلُوهَا صَالِحَةً

سنن أبي داود كِتَاب الْجِهَادِ مر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ببعير قد لحق ظهره ببطنه فقال اتقوا الله في هذه البهائم المعجمة فاركبوها صالحة وكلوها صالحة

Hadith on Neighbors: Do not belittle any gift to a neighbor no matter how small

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, used to say, “O Muslim women, do not belittle any gift for your neighbor, even a sheep’s hoof.”

[Sahih Muslim, Book 005, Number 2247]

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ يَا نِسَاءَ الْمُسْلِمَاتِ لَا تَحْقِرَنَّ جَارَةٌ لِجَارَتِهَا وَلَوْ فِرْسِنَ شَاةٍ

صحيح مسلم  كتاب الزكاة  باب الحث على الصدقة ولو بالقليل ولا تمتنع من القليل لاحتقاره

Hadith on Fasting: Fasting is a shield from Hellfire just like a shield in battle

Uthman ibn Abu Al-As reported: He invited invited Mutarraf to drink some milk and he said, “I am fasting.” Uthman said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, saying, “Fasting is a shield from the Hellfire just like the shield of any of you in battle.”

أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ أَبِي الْعَاصِ الثَّقَفِيَّ دَعَا لَهُ بِلَبَنٍ يَسْقِيهِ قَالَ مُطَرِّفٌ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ فَقَالَ عُثْمَانُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ الصِّيَامُ جُنَّةٌ مِنْ النَّارِ كَجُنَّةِ أَحَدِكُمْ مِنْ الْقِتَالِ
