Hadith on Sunnah: Whoever revives a Sunnah will have the reward of everyone who acts upon it

Kathir ibn Abdullah reported: The Prophet, peace be upon him, said to Bilal, “Know.” He said, “What should I know, O Messenger of Allah?” He said, “Know, O Bilal!” He said, “I am ready to know, O Messenger of Allah.” The Prophet said, “Verily, whoever revives a tradition (sunnah) from among my traditions which has died after me, then he will have a reward similar to whoever acts upon it without taking anything away from their rewards; and whoever introduces an innovation with which Allah and His Messenger are not pleased, then he will have a sin similar to whoever acts upon it without taking anything away from the sins of the people.”

Hadith on Judgment: The Prophet was sent to warn about punishment in the Hereafter

Ibn Abbas reported: One day the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, ascended mount As-Safa and he called out, “O people! Come at once!” So the Quraish gathered before him. He said, Indeed, I am ‘a warner to you before the coming of a severe punishment.’ (34:46) Do you think that if I told you that the enemy was preparing to attack you in the morning or evening you would believe? Abu Lahab said, “Is it for this that you have called us? May you perish!” So Allah revealed the verse, “Perish the hand of Abu Lahab!” (111:1).

Hadith on Marriage: Those who publicize their bedroom secrets are like devils who fornicate for all to see

Asma bint Yazid reported: I was once in the company of a group of men and women seated in the presence of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him. He said to them, “Perhaps a man will mention what he did with his wife, and perhaps a woman will mention what she did with her husband.” The people sat in embarrassed silence until I spoke up and said, “Indeed, O Messenger of Allah, they do so quite often.” He said, “Do not do it. Indeed, that is like a male devil and female devil having intercourse while people are watching.”
